BIO

A talented DJs DJ. People love to watch him work just as much as they love to listen and dance.
Steven has been around, not just bars and clubs, he favours private events with a more personal touch. He has ended up in some crazy, strange, fun and fantastic events, always rising to the challenge. From private members clubs, VIP areas to houses with tanks, basement clubs, casinos, Ice bars, silent discos, home festivals...
"People are getting really creative with events these days, they always want to make it unique, with a twist, and I love that."
Praised for his ability to deliver great sets in various genres, but is most well known for his passion for Tech House and UK Garage. He doesn't work from playlists so no two events are ever the same.
"When I first put needle to vinyl and tried to mix in a few tracks, it sounded terrible obviously, but I couldn't wait for the next opportunity to play. 20 Years on and I still feel the same way."
"I started getting involved with parties and music at the height of UK Garage, the heyday of Vinyl, when there was always a queue of have-a-go MC's at every party.
As the scene evolved, so did my equipment and my record box, DnB, Dubstep, Hip Hop, Grime and House took over my playlists, over time focusing mainly on Tech House.
Now into my 30's, Disco, Funk and Soul is more prevalent in my mixes, and techno more of a choice for events I go to.
My sets utilise all of my history and experience, not just in technical ability, but in building energy and euphoria. Just as every piece of artwork is unique, as is every event and gathering of people. There is no single playlist that fits every party, or song that gets everyone dancing.
My goal is to create the environment for people to enjoy themselves, a guiding soundscape that is sensed and reacted to. "
